As a storm chaser, you find great interest in searching for any and all natural disasters, possibly to a fault.
Most of your time outside of school was taken up by reading about or watching storms from a distance. This led to a dangerous attitude about storms, you wanted to catch one. If there was any chance of your parents stopping you, it disappeared a long, long time ago.
Despite many people's requests, be it out of fear for your safety or your future, you have not stopped, possibly only gotten worse. Just like your childhood, most of your time is spent scouring the horizon for any signifier of a freak storm.
Anytime you see a wizard flying you get jealous because of how lucky they are to be free to explore.
