You understand wealth, power, and privilege but you are a rebel, a person who wants to destroy the government you are currently a part of. You carry a noble title, and your family owns land and collects taxes. However, you secretly work in the background to take those in charge down. You've learned to wield your significant political influence to your advantage, in addition to learning important lessons in battle, survival, and leadership skills.
Work with your DM to come up with an appropriate title and determine how much authority that title carries as well to determine the type of government or ideal your revolution was fighting for, the impact the revolution had on foreign governments, if the revolution succeeded or failed, your experiences as a revolutionist, and what other revolutionists thought of you (a leader or a traitor)
- Skill Proficiencies: Insight, Persuasion
- Tool Proficiencies: One type of gaming set
- Languages: One of your choice
- Equipment: A set of traveler's clothes, a signet ring, a symbol of your revolution , and a purse containing 25 gp
Thanks to your noble birth, people are inclined to think the best of you. You are welcome in high society, and people assume you have the right to be wherever you are. The common folk make every effort to accommodate you and avoid your displeasure, and other people of high birth treat you as a member of the same social sphere. You can secure an audience with a local noble if you need to.
Suggested Characteristics
Nobles are born and raised to a very different lifestyle than most people ever experience, while surviving through a revolution, regardless of a person's side, can lead them to a politically extreme road. A noble title comes with a plethora of bonds while a reblel also learns how to work in a team, and often are willing to help their allies even if it could potentially harm their own livelihood. But this clash of responsibilities is often a good way to undermine a Rebel Noble.
