The Moon Scouts are an organization created and run by the church of Seluné. Once children age out of the program at their race's equivalent to 14, they can become junior councilors and troupe leaders. The Scouts teach their members various life skills that serve them equally well in day to day life or as adventurers.
- Skill Proficiencies: The Moon Scout background gives you proficiency in Survival and one ability of your choice (other than Deception, Intimidation, and Sleight of Hand).
- Tool Proficiencies: You gain proficiency in one toolset of your choice from: Alchemist's Supplies, Brewer's Supplies, Calligrapher's Supplies, Carpenter's Tools, Cartographer's Tools, Cobbler's Tools, Cook's Utensils, Glassblower's Tools, Jeweler's Tools, Leatherworker's Tools, Mason's Tools, Painter's Supplies, Potter's Tools, Smith's Tools, Tinker's Tools, Weaver's Tools, Woodcarver's Tools, Disguise Kit, Herbalism Kit, Navigator's Tools.
- Equipment: You gain a tool kit of your choice, a mess kit, a compass, a map of your area, a seal that shows you were a Scout, and a pouch containing 10 GP.
Feature: Scout's Honor
The Moon Scouts are respected. So long as you act in keeping with the Moon Scout code, treating people with respect, the common people are inclined to help you and your friends, although they are likely to ask you to help them in return in small, mundane ways.
