You might have been a lone rider, batteling tyrants from kingdom to kingdom, or a beggar, riding wherever the wind blows, you could also be te son or daughter of a rider king or queen. Your horse is the most important thing in your world, your best friend, and you would do anything to protect it, even though it spends most of his life batteling evil along side you.

Feature: Mounted Combatant
You are a dangerous foe to face while on horseback. While you are on a horse and aren't incapacitated, you gain the following benefits:
- You have advantage on melee attack rolls against any unmounted creature that is smaller than your horse.
- You can force an attack targeted at your horse to target you instead.
- If your horse is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.

There is a broad range of riders, most of them are noble warriors fighting the terrors of this world, but some might be spreading horror everywhere they can, a lone ranger can be widely known, just as a rider prince(ss), but you could also be a sodier in the cavalry who is just like countless others at their side.
