You grew up without family, wealth, or anyone to protect you. The streets were your teacher. You learned to survive by keeping your head down, reading people quickly, and taking whatever opportunities presented themselves.
Yet there have always been strange things about you. You occasionally dream of places you've never seen, speak words you don't remember learning, and possess instincts that seem impossible for someone of your upbringing. Sometimes, when you close your eyes, you see a life that feels strangely familiar.
