You can telepathically hear a voice from the flower you carry, guiding you along. It follows your personality traits, bonds and flaws, but has an opposing alignment.

Posted Aug 12, 2019Finally! I had a character concept of a warforged who has no ties to his past at all. just found in a box with a bunch of wards on the inside. the seal breaks, the wards break, the warforged returns to life, with no memories of the past, or of what they even are.
most backgrounds don't fit an amnesiac, but there are fifteen amnesiac backgrounds on this site, and the ones I've read all feel too....human. this works for a warforged, and one with no memories to boot.
I could do without the undertale reference though (whether you intended it to be such a reference or not). I may work with my DM to swap that for something else. perhaps a posessed sword, and if it ever wins me over, I'll start taking class levels in warlock instead of fighter?

I really only put that in to make it easier for DM's to give the character a weapon if they were in a futuristic campaign and whatnot
If you're talking about the flower, no it wasn't an undertale thing. The background is a mix for a few things from this site here. The idea was to create a 'created character' but not restrict is to one type of construct/alchemy/conjuration type creations.
However restrict them to be without a soul.
