You didn't have a famous magical family. You weren't personally recruited by the Synod. You simply proved that you belonged here. Perhaps you won a regional magical competition, discovered a new spell, demonstrated exceptional academic ability, or impressed a visiting professor. Your scholarship gives you the chance to study alongside children from some of the most influential magical families in the world.
