Due to a sick and injured traveler bleeding on you, you have been infected by an unknown plague.
It is taking quite a toll on your body, causing muscle atrophy and forming blisters all over your skin.
But as you start getting stronger and your body starts adapting, some of the effects start to flip...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At lvl 1: -3 to charisma, strength and constitution. But for every hit that you take from an enemy within 10 feet they must roll a constitution check, on failure they get poisoned by the bile and blood coming from your body.
At lvl 3: Your body starts to get used to the strain, poped blisters now leave behind tough scar tissue giving you +2 armor class.
At lvl 5: -2 to charisma, and -1 to strength and constitution. You are now able to inflict 3 damage to yourself to rip off pieces of yourself to throw at creatures, hitting them has a 25% chance of poisoning them (by rolling a d4).
At lvl 7: -1 to charisma and constitution, but due to building tolerance you now have advantage on constitution saving throws for poisons.
At lvl 10: As your body has finnaly adapted to the plague, all the downsides dissapear while your blood remains toxic.
At lvl 15: Due to an latend side effect of the plague you now have an increased muscle density, giving you a +3 in strength and a +2 in constitution.
At lvl 17: Using your blood (taking 1d6 damage) you are able to make a "vaccine" (potion) that is effective against most poisons, for people with the plague this can nullify the negative effects of the plague for 24 hours.
At lvl 20: Though cured you are still a carrier, unknowingly spreading the plague everywhere you go. You will leave a permanent mark in every town go, making the people suffer, but bringing the positives too...
