Dragons. The oldest creatures in the world. They’re huge, mysterious, magnificent and dangerous. You are what most would call insane. Despite the obvious dangers you have dedicated yourself to studying these creatures to better understand them. You are dedicated to dragonology even if it means going agains common laws and morals and even if it means putting your life on the line.
Come up with some sort of justification as to why you are so dedicated to your studies, work with you DM to figure out how your line of work and dragons are viewed in your world. Perhaps you had an encounter with a dragon that somehow sparked your curiosity, or maybe the dragons haunt you in your dreams. Perhaps dragons are very well known and feared or they are elusive and a mystery.

You do have a vast knowledge of everything about these beasts but there is a subject in which you are an expert when it comes to these beautiful creatures.

For some inexplicable reason when near or in encounters with dragons they seem to not mind you and not bother to attack you as long as you do not present yourself as a danger to them, they rush to trust you very quickly and sometimes even take to you as well.
If you are to ever give yourself time to actually bond with one of these creatures it’s possible that they may even see you as a being to be protected but it is not an easy path to obtain the affection of a dragon, let alone more than one.

Your magnificent mind is far too capable to restrain itself to only studying dragons, instead you’ve dedicated yourself to studying creatures and beasts of all shapes and sizes no matter the cost. If you choose to be a Zoologist choose the Love of the Beasts feature instead of the Favored by the Dragon feature, as for all your info simply view the word “dragon” as “beast” and “creature” (i have gone ahead and tried to use the terms already for you but in case i missed a spot simply replace dragon)
Due to your need to be able to approach and study all creatures you equipment may include a small sack of different treats for beasts.
You have the tendency to attract smaller beasts and creatures such as rabbits and birds and deer, they trust you when you’re alone and with specific kinds of birds (such as hawks, owls, or pigeons) you can use them to send messages and letters (they are also easy to tame and take as a familiar).
