Beasts, humans, others... the lives you cut down in the rings and pits are what you've known for as long as you remember. The bloodshed of your early life has left its impact, and the control that was held over you continues to haunt your days. You may have belonged to a slaver, a king, or just entertainers that saw you as an easy target. Now, your freedom has arrived.

The mental and physical strain of a life of captivity shows itself in various ways, creating and twisting a person's beliefs and their knowledge of the world. Some slaves escape, and are driven by their fortunate circumstance, other grow bitter and vicious. And yet more are abandoned, or rescued by raids on these illegal ventures, and are left wandering from the only world they knew.

1	I've learned to bow my head when needed, being polite gets you out of a lot of trouble.
2	I can’t get the images of violence out of my head, the slaughter that I saw and partook in.
