What have you done? Someone out there wants you dead, so you must have done something. You've recently had an encounter with an assassin with coin in their pocket and a note in their hand describing you and detailing the job required of them. Maybe you know who sent this assassin, maybe you don't. But you can't just sit around and wait for the next hired mercenary or poisoned blade in a dark alley. You need to get to the bottom of this and get this target off of your back.
- Skill Proficiencies: It's not all doom and gloom. Having a line of people waiting to claim the money for killing you is the perfect time to develop your skills in stealth and either insight or intimidation. Good for you!
- Languages: It's a good job you learned a new language before the killers started chasing after you. It might even save your life.
- Equipment: You grab only what you need to survive. Life on the run is rarely luxurious, but a few sentimental items will really help you keep positive in these trying times.
There could be a variety of reasons that assassins are lining up to kill you. Whether you know this reason or not, it will help to establish what you think this is all about...

You have to be like the wind, drifting from place to place with barely any sign you were ever there. The more of a presence you make the easier your pursuers will be able to track you down. Hiding your face and keeping to yourself will keep you alive. But you're not alone...
While someone wants you dead, you have someone out there that you know is trustworthy. They may have a ship that can get you far away, or a cart to help you sneak through the city. They'll help when they can, but don't compromise them or you'll soon have no one left to help you.

You don't get in this situation by being flawless. Whether you made a mockery of a powerful leader, or just say something you shouldn't have, you are not a pure and innocent bystander. Maybe you have compulsions to steal, cheat, or sleep with someone else's partner. Maybe you just have an annoying face! It's our flaws that show our true character.
Contacts
You have a person/persons who you can trust. They'll help you as much as they can, but don't get them killed in the process or you'll have no one left to trust.
