You grew up among the drow nobility, a wealthy citizen of one of the great cities of the Underdark. But for whatever reason you decided to leave- not just your home, but the Underdark itself. Maybe you couldn't stand the evil of the drow, maybe you were in fear for your life, maybe you just had a thirst for adventure. Whatever the reason, you are a runaway and have found yourself in the harsh world above.
- Skill Proficiencies: Stealth, Persuasion
- Tool Proficiencies: One type of gaming set
- Languages: Undercommon, and one of your choice.
- Equipment: A set of fine drow clothes, a signet ring, 15gp in a spider-silk pouch of drow make, and a small piece of jewellery.
Due to drow being known for their overwhelmingly evil tendencies, with few notable exceptions, many people you encounter will fear you; however, due to your noble birth and connections, which you may or may not still have access to (and you may or may not bluff about being connected to), few will wish to displease you and face the wrath of your house.
Suggested Characteristics
You were born to nobility, and as such, you were raised under the finer and wealthier aspects of drow society. If you are female and did not become a priestess of Lolth, you were probably raised to be an influential member of your house. If you are male, you probably still had the noble drow influence, though you were pushed to the side more than your female relatives. Either way, you were raised to be brutal, evil, and worship Lolth, though your own thoughts and experiences could also shape your personality.
