You were afflicted by lycanthropy at one point in your life, but have managed to find someone to alleviate the curse. However, their magic was not able to completely lift it, so you are still in danger of transforming in times of intense stress or if your innate survival instincts trigger that part of you to take over. You may feel intense guilt over the deaths you undoubtedly caused while under the full effect of the curse, or you may have buried them deep down and tried to forget, or perhaps if you are evil-aligned, you may possibly take pride in it.
- Skill Proficiencies: Pick two between Survival, Nature, Intimidation, and Animal Handling.
- Languages: Choose one additional language of your choice.
- Equipment: An explorer's pack, a set of traveler's clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp.
You were cursed to transform into some type of animal from this table, or choose your own if it fits your character.

Your curse was only partially lifted, so you are still in danger of transforming when survival instincts are triggered or you are under intense stress. Your DM may determine a moment of intense stress and ask you to roll a Wisdom saving throw, with a DC based on the situation at hand.
You may voluntarily transform in battle, at which point you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 10) when intending to attack a creature. On a successful save, you choose which creature to attack. On a failed save, you attack the nearest creature before movement, or randomly choose if there are multiple creatures within range. This includes friendly creatures as well as hostile.
If your health falls below half, you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 15) or be forced to transform. The rules of attacking creatures are the same, except the DC has increased to 15. Regardless of voluntary or involuntary transformation, you have resistance to nonmagical piercing, bludgeoning, and slashing damage not from silvered weapons while in your lycanthrope form.
You also have multiattack in your feral form, using both bite (1d8 + STR) and claws (2d4 + STR). You are considered proficient with these attacks.
Suggested Characteristics
You have been partially cured, so you can control your transformation under normal circumstances. You are protective of yourself in dicey situations, as you do not want to transform involuntarily and risk the safety of your comrades, even if you are evil-aligned. Usually even those that are evil-aligned will long to return to their homeland, which you may have been banished from.
