Milkman

You worked on the streets alone, well liked, and swift. You had no one to hover over you so you learned to provide for yourself out of pride and a desire to live comfortably. You fought fiercely over delivery routes and kept a constant watch out for other milkmen and women who might steal them from you. You ran over rooftops and cut through alleyways, exposed to the underbelly of society, but no one was going to beat your delivery time. You’ve become successful, and did so through cunning, strength, speed, or some combination of each.

You begin your adventuring career with enough money to live modestly but securely for at least twenty days.

Equipment: A small knife, a map of the city you grew up in, a pet mouse, a token to identify you as a milkman, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 20 gp

Milkmen are shaped by lives of hard work and competition for good and for ill. They tend to be driven either by a commitment customer or by a burning desire to find a better life — and maybe get some affection along the way.
