The trials and tribulations of war take their toll on all who are involved in war. You are trained to look after the physical, mental and spiritual health of the infantry men and women during war time. You may have been part of a small strike team, a town militia or a larger military force.

When you choose this background, introduce the concept of military support personnel such as fields medics, cooks and performers to your DM.

Skill Proficiencies: Medicine, Religion
Tool Proficiencies: One type of gaming set or one type of musical instrument or Cook's Utensils or Brewer's Supplies, Herbalism Kit
Equipment: A memento (a sketch, carving, or letter), a set of tools or an instrument or a gaming set, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp

Soldiers of friendly military organizations acknowledge your rank and abilities as a field medic. They will usually allow you safe passage or access to military encampments and fortresses. They may ask for help with their wounded in return. You can also usually expect healing to be provided by other Combat Support personnel.
