Executioner

By trade, you were brought into the business by giving the public morale through capital punishment.  Your methods are harsh but necessary as a thorough message to criminals, and through hardened choices of keeping your nerves tight you've made yourself a figure of fear and death, whether it was for the right or wrong reasons.  you stand out being a cold-hearted monster to the eyes of the public, but in the end of the day all that matters is they fear the law and what awaits those who violate the code of citizenship.

Skill Proficiencies: You are proficient in athletics and intimidation.

Tool Proficiencies: You may choose two Artisan tools, preferably those that pertain to your methods of execution, such as smith's tools for sharpening blades to behead and making stakes or weavers tools for maintaining a strong rope for nooses.

Equipment: You start with one artisan tool you are proficient with, a set of common clothes, ceremonial executioner clothes, a memento of one of your past executions, a (a) worn noose or (b) jagged dagger, and a pouch containing 5 GP.

Suggested Characteristics

The mind of an Executioner is warped in morbid senses, from habits they developed from desensitized killings and going as far as to killing even the most innocent of life to secure their position in town.  They have obvious showings of cracked personalities to what they may have been before.  What may keep them from going over the deep end is the most important thing to them, but no matter how close they are to others, it's what pushes those close that keeps the executioner in the dark side of their minds.
