You bear a Soulmark, a permanent bond, reminded and clue to the identity of your Soul Mate. Bearing multiple is also possible, but less common. Your Soulmark manifested on the exact time of your 16th birthday and cannot be removed. If covered by makeup, it glows through, if covered by a scar, it superimposes over the scar tissue, etc. It does appear over clothing or armor. Many religions consider a Soulmark to be holy, and will exalt specific ones depending on their patron deity. A Soulmark cannot Deal Damage to you, remove limbs, end your life, defend from damage or affect checks unless specially stated by the Soulmark.

Skill Proficiencies: Due to the physical nature of all Marks, you have proficiency in Medicine. Additionally, due to the magical/religious nature of having a Mark, you have proficiency in either Arcana or Religion.
Tool Proficiencies: To ensure you do not have to summer unseemly effects on your Mark (magic writing on scar tissue ain’t always fun) you have Proficiency in Medicinal Tools.
Languages: Thank to the touch the gods have had on your life, you inherently understand either Celestial or Infernal.
Equipment: You start with either a set of Medicinal tools or a Religious Pack.

Soulmark Table.

Roll 1D4 to determine what kind of Soulmark you get.

1 Magical script written in black ink in either celestial or infernal on some part of your body (depending on your selected language). These are the first words your soulmate will ever say to you. They have the same script written in the opposite language to you.
2 A subtle magical effect (a heartless flame or a shimmering aurora borealis depending on your selected language) that increases in intensity the nearer you are to your soulmate. Never fully fades. Your soulmate has the opposite effect.
3 One of your eyes is the same color as that of your soulmate, and they have one eye the same color as yours. When you first touch, both of your eyes will return to their natural colors.
4 Whenever your soulmate is harmed, the aftermath is transferred to you, barring broken bones. The wounds they give you heal at a normal rate and scar. This does not work both ways, you are the only recipient.
