You are one of the smart few that has joined the obviously most powerful being. Whether it be an evil warlock, sorcerer, or a powerful warrior you follow them until they meet their eventual demise. One after another you go from evil leader to evil leader seeking safety and to be on the right side of a fight.

Skill Proficiencies: Performance - You have learned how to make a fool of yourself or act like you know what you are doing to avoid punishment from your evil lords and avoiding being killed by pesky adventurers. 

Slight of Hand -  Whether stealing food, gold, or magical goods from people while being in between masters, or from your master, you have learned how to take what you need and want without being caught and killed for it.

Tool Proficiencies: A musical instrument - Learning how to appease "less patient" masters has taught you how to play instruments well enough to distract others or, in some cases, bring joy.

Thieves tools - Tools of the trade really. If your master wanted something you would go get it for them, learning how to break in was just a step along the way.

Languages: Undercommon - Talking to the filth of the world to get places is second nature to someone such as you. The back alley dealers and thieves of the night know where to get the connections you need.
