You were created to be a cold-blooded killer, but somehow you developed morals. As these developed, you began to hate violence. You vowed never to use a weapon, so that you would never hurt anybody again. You have spend years using your shields to defend the innocent, and eventually you had them smithed onto your body. Once you met your deity, you were willing to fight in their name, but only with your shields.

2x Steel Shield (built into your body)
Your shields can change into different shapes, granting you different bonuses.

As a bonus action on your turn, you can transform your shields into another shape, or turn them back into regular shields. You must transform them into regular shields before the next transformation.
For any weapon attack with a shield, add your strength modifier + your proficiency bonus + the damage for the type of shield.
Regular shields
Your shields are perfectly normal. They deal 1d6 bludgeoning damage.
Tower Shields
Your shields become larger and heavier, giving you a +2 to your AC (Combined, not per shield) and a -10 penalty to movement. While in this form, you have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws. While in this form, any allies within 5 feet of you have advantage on Dexterity saving throws. Your shields do 1d8 bludgeoning damage.
Spiked Shields
Your shields become more combat-focused, gaining spikes and sharp edges. You get a -2 to your AC, but your shields deal 1d6 bludgeoning damage + 1d4 piercing damage.
Light Shields
