The original Lundorgarath tribe existed long ago, in the age when giants ruled the material plane. This tribe of Goliath served the giants, either is subordinates to delegate jobs to or to serve as soldiers in the coming war with the dragons. They revered the elements as omnipotent forces, and paid homage to the ancient gods that represented them.

Today, the only remnants of the original tribe are four splinter versions of it, the Lundorgarath'Skye, Lundorgarath'Ild, Lundorgarath'Ise, Lundorgarath'Stein. After the war with the dragons, the giants split up into their various sub-species, and retreated to the elemental planes to recover. This left the Lundorgarath alone and without direction, causing them to fall prey to their more primal instincts. The tribe began to argue over which element was the most powerful, and eventually they split up to avoid infighting, with each supporter choosing one of four new tribes to join with.

All tribes still hold their ancestral roots close, but have now incorporated the new giant gods into their worship, and revere the species of giant that is the most closely associated with their tribes alignment. Cloud for the Skye, Fire for the Ild, Frost for Ise, and Stone for the Stein. The Aer and Roc are peaceful with all their sister tribes, but the Cha and Col have an agitated rivalry due to the conflict between Surtr and Thrym. All tribes believe their respective element of giant to be the perfect being, and hope to one day have their tribe ascended to be giants of that type. While they respect both the Old God's of the elements and the Lesser Giant God's, they specifically worship the Old God's, and pay homage to the Giant Pantheon.

Each corner of Xy'larria has area's that are bleeding into the elemental planes, so the tribes naturally gravitated to their respective places there. Each tribes coming of age trial involves a venture into the elemental planes to retrieve a symbol of their element; cloud stuff, true flame, blue ice, and living earth respectively. The Old God's do not take paladin's or cleric's, as is their nature, but the Giant Pantheon do, though it is rare for a god of the Giant Pantheon to take a champion from the lesser giant races. Each tribe waits for the day that a champion will be chosen from their tribe, and sets out to shatter the ordning and then re-align it in the favor of their revered giant race. If this goal is achieved, the tribes believe their revered giant gods will ascend them to giant status. Until that day, they practice unconventional skills to serve their role in the ordning, as well as their revered giant species trade of choice.

Feature: Lundorgarath Heritage

You have an excellent knowledge of not only your tribe’s territory, but also the terrain and natural resources throughout the rest of that corner of Xy'larria. You are familiar enough with any wilderness area that you find twice as much food and water as you normally would when you forage there.

Additionally, you can call upon the hospitality of your people, and those folk allied with your tribe, often including members of druid circles, monasteries of nomadic monks, and the priesthoods devoted to the Old God's of the elements. A Goliath can call upon the Ordning to parlay with giants and other giant-kin.
