Death Match Gladiator

You have a history of fighting for sport, be it willingly or unwillingly. You know the horror and bloodshed of the arena.

Even as you sleep, your memories haunt you. In your dreams, you hear the voices of your victims, the screams of the dead and the dying. As a result, you are hesitant to fight in fear of the bloodlust and adrenaline returning. You feel that it is for the best that your companions do not see the darker side of you.

In the long years spent in the arena, you have learnt to be independent and not to trust easily. Anyone and everyone can manipulate you. You view every new face, every new identity with suspicion. Any bonds you form, you treasure, maybe even more than your life.

Any who look into your eyes will know that you have gone through many terrors in your life. They will offer you what hospitality they can, including sheltering you from the law, and might even lay down their lives for you, depending on what your relationship with them is.

On the battlefield, any opponent who stares you down will know that you are a capable fighter, and will not underestimate you. They may even turn tail and flee.
