What started as two now becomes one, due to an unforeseen difficulty at birth the lives of a set of twins are forever intertwined into one body through an ancient elvish arcane ritual. Was it a curse that caused the lives of the children to be endangered or perhaps a plague claimed on young life and the parents did whatever possible to save the life of the child. Regardless of the cause the souls of the two twins now both inhabit the same body, changing control in periods of extreme stress or sometimes random happenstances. Who knows maybe through training or study they could learn to harness the switch to their control.

Due to two souls sharing one body the character has two separate sets of mental scores, a separate character class that levels at the same rate as the primary class and uses the largest HD to determine HP for the level.
After a long rest the player determines which personality is in control for the day. At any point the DM may have the character roll a WIS save throw to determine if the characters switch control for any reason deemed possible by the DM.
Suggested Characteristics
Twin Souls are unique in the world as they are two souls in a shared body. Due to this they can seem chaotic in nature due to the disagreements the siblings can have. The wide range of mental acuity lends them to a nomadic lifestyle as they try to find their place in the world.
