
You have trained under a master Apothecary, aiding them in their shop. With their tutelage, you have gained the knowledge required to treat all manner of ailments and maladies. Not all medicine is beneficial, however. You also know a good deal about toxins that can cause harm or even death, including how to make them.
By day you are a dutiful shop assistant, but by night you run a side business where you sell your own experimental concoctions as well as things like lethal poisons with the agreement that you remain anonymous. Most of your customers are the downtrodden, the misfits, the freaks of the rigid Drow society.

Due to your invaluable service to this community, you have access to a contact that can get their hands on rare, illegal and/or otherwise unsanctioned ingredients.
Suggested Characteristics
Apothecaries are defined by their attention to detail. Because so many of the illnesses they treat often have similar symptoms, they are careful about the things they say and the questions they ask, always looking to gather precise and accurate information. They are not always able to use the most appropriate tools for the job, or have sufficient funds, so they cut corners and improvise, utilizing creative solutions out of necessity.
