You lived life normally as any commoner or soldier, or whatever you’re your life wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. You lived what you did as a person and a contributor to your town or village. Because of this mark on your hand you’re treated differently by most people, people are disgusted by you because of “the mark.” Even though good loving citizens and guards don’t like you people who are criminals or are part of a black market respect you and will help you when you need it. Even with personal access to the black market and discount with any black market.
