Favorite Habitat
Before becoming a hero of fortune, adventurer, or what have you, you spent much of your childhood and adult life away from your home, living among the creatures of the wild. You came to respect and understand the beasts whom live in the wild, being able to predict reactions and how the creatures think. Suggested Characteristics
Zoologists leave behind the societies into which they were born to discover what life is like in the wild parts of the world. They seek to see how other creatures interact and beasts survive — or why they did not. Some zoologists are driven by a passion for animals, while others want the fame and recognition that comes with being the first to discover a species, a lost creature, or the truth about an ancient animal's extinction.

This is awesome. It's simple enough to follow yet interesting enough to use. As a DM that looks for evey possible way to incorporate every skill, I could see a few of my players choosing your background.
I really like this. However, the Chaotic Ideal should be Evil, or maybe Neutral.
I agree, but unfortunately once I had already published it when I noticed I used the older Ideals/Flaws/Bonds table and I couldn't edit it.
