Some Witches prefer to be alone, to seclude themselves deep within a forest away from society. Some Witches prefer a more social life, by hiding their practice within a city, forming a Coven of other practitioners, or both. Regardless of this choice, their use of forbidden magic can often leave its mark, driving them mad and causing them to cackle at seemingly innane things, or worse, permanantly changing their body.

The most common of these physical changes are a change of skin colour, sharper more pointed facial features, but sometimes there can be a major effect. Some witches have been known to take on the characteristics of the creatures they keep the company of. Witches that enjoy the company of wildlife will take on a more bestial appearance, Witches that consort with Fey will find themselves taking on the characteristics of those Fey. A Witch that started Human may not be Human after years studying the occult.
