Dissociative Identity Image

"I still remember the day I was born, called out of the Ethereal Ocean by my father, washing to the shores and being welcomed by the others. You see, this is how I came to being, brought to the surface as my name was called out. You see, my father was one of the originators, brought to life when "Name" died. Killed in a vicious attack by the hands of there stepfather ... you see, he didn't die conventionally, his body remained in tact, but his soul, his soul shattered into 3 pieces. The originators, My father, His brother and sister. When they were born, it was a simple room, no seats, just a empty space with a beam of light in the middle. When one of them stepped into the light, they took control of the body. My father, by accident when in control bumped into a Cleric, a man of the sun, who helped him establish order, a man who helped his develop the house. A country villa on the edge of the Ethereal Ocean, overlooking a wide space. To the right is the Gwydyr Forrest, Home on my Auntie and most the most chaotic of the originators, she protested the building of the house and got exiled away into there. Too the left is a small pumpkin patch where we bury the dead. So far there are 7 fragments of the soul buried there, given peace eternal. Each one of us has a room, our own loves, beliefs, memories. My father was our leader, the one who built this place, after its completion, he decided to have me. You see he was tired, tired off being leader, making me to continue on with his work."

This is a general idea  of how a character with Dissociative Identity could work, but you have countless possibilities to create your own story, being a mage who's soul was thrown into the astral sea and returned shattered or a barbarian boy who was savagely attacked. This background is really for the players who want a real challenge of playing multiple characters in one.

Note: I made this background for me, based on my real life experiences, I hope people enjoy the background for some fun and unique characters
