You are the talk of the town wherever you go. Minstrels sing praise of you, children pretend to be you, and some seek to be like you. Though you are adored by many, defeating your enemies tends to upset their allies. People that would normally be indifferent to you may offer to buy you a drink, but there is always a chance that that drink is poison.

Variant War Hero: Crusader

You are no stranger to valiant quests and slaying monsters. You would probably crusade with other members of a religious order. Religious establishments would happily accommodate an acolyte of your stature and folks love the tales of your quests.
