For as long as there have been living organisms roaming the land, there have been those who hunt them. Be it terrible, fearsome creatures or rare medicinal plants, you track their locations, study them, then claim your prize.
How you cane to be a Hunter can vary greatly. Perhaps you hunt for sport, or reward. Maybe it’s your quest, handed down from ancient generations. Perhaps it’s for revenge. Maybe you’re looking for something or someone, and hunting gives you the opportunities and resources your need for your search. Whatever the reason, nothing will deter your from your goal.

Hunters loosely congregate in “Chapters” to exchange information, acquire jobs, tell stories, and generally socialize. Chapters are usually on the outskirts of civilization, away from the “normal” folks. Chapters tend to come stocked with a full bar beds, and moderate defenses against your average flora and fauna, including other hunters. A Chapter will likely offer sanctuary to a hunter and a hunter’s companion unless you bring trouble to their doorstep.
The average hunter is either boisterous, boastful, and expressive or withdrawn, sullen, and surly. Hunters are bonded by a common trade but they all retain individualistic personalities that emphasize self-preservation I’ve the common good.

Hunters tend to be egotistical or withdrawn, but you don’t have to be. Due to the incredible news for self-reliance and the tendency to be away from civilization, hunters can be radical eccentrics. But those driven by a singular goal tend to be stoic and relentless. Following in the tracks of another creature, they may forget the presence of their own.
