Foundling Of The Gold King Image

Long ago the Gold King had rule over many countries, he was a wise and fair king and allowed land to split from his rule if he believed they were able to sustain themselves as their own country. Many lands took the oppurtunity to grow and leave the kingdom starting their own peaceful relationships with the king as allies. One particular section of land, however was never given the chance to leave due to the lack of leadership qualities in their "King". Amdellon, The gold King, refused to allow such a barbaious, aggressive man lead a kingdom of those just like him knowing it would only lead to war. The group formed an army with foreign lands to over throw the Gold King and take his land. Luckily for some, one of the countries reached out to the Gold King as a warning as to what was to come and he started to evacuate his people to other lands and even other worlds. The Gold KIng was not too long after, overthrown by the rebellion and his wonderous kingdom was buned to ashes. The legacy of the Gold King lives on in the hearts and souls of those who were given safe passage and from them came to Foundlings. The Foundlings are a group growing in numbers every year, a group made up of all those with ties to the Gold King. These men, women and children are given garbs to pay tribute to the Gold King as a symbol of who they are. They dress in white clothing with golden detail and a gold cape over their left shoulder as the king once did. These people, the Foundlings, have since the coming together of the "House of Kings" have saut to bring justice to theirs kingdom's untimely fall and continue to remain loyal to the man that lead them for many years, the Gold King.

 
Skill Proficiencies: The Foundlings are made up of members of vast knowledge in both magical and nonmagical realms. You gain proficiency in Arcana and History.
Tool Proficiencies: Many members of the Foundlings are scholars and adventurers, as such they have had much practices with calligrapher's supplies and cartographery tools.
Languages: The Gold King spoke common in diplomatic situations,  but in his home land and to his subjects he spoke in Elvish. His people were taught both in school and that tradition has beeen passed down for generations. 
Equipment: Each member of the foundlings is equipt with the groups uniform, a white outfit with golden trim and designs with a gold cape over their left shoulder. Members have tweaked this to better suit situations and have been seen with dark variations of the uniform withe the kings crest of the chest still in gold.

The Gold King's Story is known far and wide, because of this the members of the Foundlings are saut out when seen in cities and people often ask to hear your story. Taver owners may offer a few free drinks and meals in exchange for your story telling which will draw in many more people. Shop owners will give you discounts to hear of tales of your liniage so that they have a selling point for the gear. Kings and Nobles typically give you and audience due to your past and hope they might help you on your journey.

 
Suggested Characteristics

Many of the foundlings are quite, noble, peaceful people who only engage in battle or qualms when completely nessicary. Others are mercinaries who seek money for dangerous, outlandish work. Some are scholars who have yet to leave a university or temple since their arrival there.

 
 
Contacts

A very small group of the Foundlings called golden knights very seldomand very discretely reach out to members nearest them to see  if the need aid in anything, but since the Hundred Years War they have not been heard from. They faut along side some of the most powerful forces in the world known as the four horsemen, and people speculate that they met their demise whilst doing so, others believe they were driven into hiding after the war as cults began seaking them out. The true nature of what happened is still unknown.
