Nearly three hundred years ago the Odohndo faith was given new life when Ka’ah, the World Dragon, was nearly brought back to this world by the Kha’ton and his heralds. Since that time the Dragonborn tribes of the Odohndo have been raising a certain sect of their young to go out into the world, seeking out Ka’ah’s power and calling it back to this world. You have been preparing your entire life for this. You have devoted yourself whole heartedly to the way of Ka’ah with your every woken breather that even some of those within your tribe consider you a zealot. Their opinions won’t much matter though once the World Dragon is returned. As you have now passed your accords and venture out into the world, only one thing lingers on your mind, the mission.
- Skill Proficiencies: History, Religion
- Tool Proficiencies: Your choice of Alchemist's Supplies, Calligrapher's Supplies, or Herbalism Kit
- Languages: One of your choice
- Equipment: A Tome titled "The way of Ka'ah", a set of artisan's tools, a Staff of Heralds, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp
Feature: Gift of Ka'ah
As an Odohndo, you command the respect of those dragonborn who share your faith, and you can perform the rituals and ceremonies of The Way of Ka’ah. You and your adventuring companions can expect free healing at Odohndo villages and encampments though you must provide any material components needed for spells. Tribes that you remain in good standing with will also provide you modest lodging.
Additionally, as a trained Herald of Ka’ah, you seem to exhibit a physically manifested connection to the World Dragon. Once every three days, you may perform a ritual prayer to Ka’ah, to receive his gift. Make a DC 15 religion check. If you succeed, then roll a d6 and refer the table below. You gain resistance to the corresponding element for 24 hours. If you roll a natural 20 on your religion check, you may take the elemental resistance of your choice.

Suggested Characteristics
You are a bastion of your faith. Where others follow the way of Ka'ah as a set of guidelines to live their life by, you are dedicated to the truths that lie within its pages. You have been raised for a higher purpose and it's made your resolve strong. Heralds are set forth into the world to not only seek out the signs of Ka'ah's re-emergence into this world, but to speed it along. Due to their very strict upbringing and training, Heralds tend to be social pariahs, even within their own kind. This does not bother the herald however as these types of pleasantries are deemed distractions from their calling.
