Ranger's Apprentice Image

You were the apprentice to an experienced and well known ranger. Depending on your time as an apprenticeship, you may have learn the various skills that would be shared between rangers, or you may have loathed the experience only making through what you needed to survive. Regardless to which ever applied to you, your apprenticeship has ended for the better or worse. With the skills and experience that you learned during the will help guide your decisions from here on out whether if you chose to be a ranger or another path.

 
Skill Proficiencies: Survival, and one of the following Animal handling, AthleticsNaturePerception or Stealth
Tool Proficiencies: Choose one of the following: Cartographer's Tools, Leatherworker's Tools, Woodcarver's Tools, Herbalism Kit, Navigator's Tools, or Thieves' Tools.
Languages: Choose one of your choice.
Equipment: An explorer's pack, a set of traveler’s clothes, and a pouch containing 5 gp
 
Ranger Specialty

As an ranger's apprentice, you are being taught the ways of a ranger, but everyone has their specialty. Choose a specialty that you've adopted, or roll on the Ranger Specialty table

1 Pathfinder. One who shows others safely through nature.
2 Forester. One who lives with nature and thrives in it.
3 Warden. A defender of nature and civilization.
4 Scout. An explorer who finds new paths.
 
Feature: Party Guide

Travelling is easier when you are around due to your expertise of the wildness. When you forage, you can forage enough food for yourself and 2 other people per day, provided that the land offers berries, small game, water, and so forth. In addition, while you travel for more than a hour, you and your group cannot become loss, except through magical means and non magical difficult terrain doesn't slow your group.

As an apprentice to a ranger, your skills are not as refined. They may choose to hone these skills to become a legendary ranger of their own, or may choose to ignore their teaches and take a different path. How they act is often reflected by their experiences during their apprenticeship.
