You sailed with the rest of your brothers in arms for years. In that time, you faced down mighty storms, monsters of the deep, and those who wanted to sink your craft to the bottomless depths. You have also raided coastal towns to pillage and plunder, but you have also explored the world for trade and to gain renown as a master of the sea.
- Skill Proficiencies: Athletics, Perception, Intimidation, Persuasion
- Tool Proficiencies: Navigator’s tools, vehicles (water)
- Equipment: A banner with a Raven to gain Odin's blessing, [Tooltip Not Found], a trophy from a successful raid, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 40 gp
You have made a name for yourself as a viking warrior. Warriors loyal to your former armies still recognize your authority and influence, and they defer to you if they are of a lower standard. You can invoke your name to exert influence over other warriors and requisition simple equipment or horses for temporary use. You can also usually gain access to friendly military encampments and fortresses where your name is recognized.
Suggested Characteristics
Vikings can be a rough lot, but the responsibilities of life on a ship and togehter in the raiding party makes them generally reliable as well. Life aboard a ship and shoulder to shoulder in battle shapes their outlook and forms their most important attachments.

If your character has a viking background, you may select this background feature instead of Renowned warrior.
You are recognised when you enter a port of trade as a merchant who usually brings goods of high quality, local merchants will be more friendly towards you and the risk of them trying to fool you are smaller. They understand that if they manage to get a good deal with you there might be future deals.

I have no idea why it says [Tooltip Not Found], under equipment. I've checked, and there's nothing missing from the equipment list
