Chronicler Image

You grew up reading tales of adventure, war, heroes, and corruption in local books and chronicles. At a young age you took up the pen, writing fluff stories for a local chronicle. You quickly grew tired of talking to farmers about their crops. At the first opportunity to jump in with a wandering band of adventurers, you don't hesitate.

Known to occasionally step back from a fight to jot some notes to write about later, you determine whether to undertake an adventure based on how good of a story you think it'll make. You write about everything that happens in your adventures and publish it. From affairs you have with local politicians to bar fights you get into with your companions, nothing is off limits. Because of this, you may make some enemies along the way, but it's a good thing you've got friends in high places.

Feature: Published

You have long ago gained notoriety as a writer and just about anywhere you go, local publishers will accept your work. Especially if it involves a juicy story about a local political interest or businessman. You don't have to roll to persuade a publisher to take some of your work. You can also check in with these publishers from time to time to cash in on some of those royalties.

Suggested Characteristics

It helps to be charismatic and intelligent.

d3 Personality Trait
1 I view events in my life in somewhat of a detached way, as a writer on the outside looking in. Because of this, I often throw myself and my companions into dangerous situations to get the story.
2 I am bubbly, exuberant, and flirty. I buzz around the room and brighten the lives of all that I come in contact with. Because of this I find myself in unique situations that make stories that I never could have imagined.
3 I've seen a lot of the worst of people and because of this, I've become cynical. I assume the worst in everybody I meet and my writing is dark and gloomy because of this. Regardless, my work sells.
