Whether you grew to inherit this position from a family business, wanted to earn more gold in an honest living, or simply wished to take a break from the everyday dangers of life on the adventurer's road, you found a way to work as a merchant. By foot or in stall, you worked hard to maintain a good living and bore experience in chatting up those who showed interest in your wares. 

Languages: You have taken more languages into your bank of tongues to accommodate customers of all origin. You learn two more languages of your choice. 

Equipment: Due to your merchant background, you gain a small coffer box, five pieces of parchment, one bottle of ink, a small bell, and a pouch containing 10 gold pieces. 

Suggested Characteristics

A merchant is often times charismatic on account of their achieving sales. Some, however, are more no nonsense, and prefer vending their wares to getting to know their customers. For most, perhaps there is at least some drive or passion for them in what they sell. Whether or not you are willingly privy to this lifestyle or merely coerced into this way by a means of money is determinant of what one chooses.

4	There is nothing about my products that I find interest in, and I often come off as unengaged.
5	I treat my job more as a game, which can sometimes lead me to making inflationary stakes on a product I wish to sell or causing others to have poor investments.
6	I cannot keep my voice down on account of my yelling out my wares, much to the chagrin of my party and sleeping monsters.
