Fallen Deity

You are a lesser god who has had their power stripped from them. Maybe you did something to offend the other deities. Maybe you don’t have enough worshippers and have lost your powers as a result. Perhaps an opposing force stripped your powers from you. Whatever the reason, you were once a powerful deity, but you are now mortal.

You have some memories, residual knowledge, and a trace of magic from your previous godly existence. How much you remember could range from almost nothing (perhaps just a sense of familiarity when you see your holy symbol) to full memory of your past, including any information you had gained as a deity.

Skill Proficiencies: Skill Proficiencies: Religion and either Intimidation or Persuasion

Languages: Languages: Celestial or Infernal and one of your choice

You will need to determine:

• Alignment:
• Your character alignment does not need to match your deity’s original alignment, but if there is a difference between the two, you can explain how the difference emerged in your backstory.
• You can just choose an alignment if you like, or determine it randomly.
• Domain:
• You can just choose 1-2 domains, or determine them randomly.
• Holy symbol:
• Try to come up with a symbol that would go along with your alignment and domain. Holy symbols are an object meant to symbolize devotion to a particular god.
