A Seeker is chosen from their society to go out and either complete some quest or to find an artefact to save their people. Amongst the Seekers people they are seen as second only to Elders or other leaders of their society. Meaning they can do what the average person couldn't such as going into forbidden sites. Think of why your character is a Seeker is there portal threatening to swallow your village or is there legion of Aberrations threatening to kill everyone in your valley.
