Magewrights are trained in the applications of magic in everyday life. Many know how to make magic items, while some simply make potions or scrolls. Either way, being a magewright is a difficult profession to learn, and it takes years of study to achieve. Almost all magewrights have attended one of the world's many universities of magic and artifice, but all of them have an innate understanding of how magical devices work, being able to identify details of the device that would take less trained eyes the use of magic to determine.
- Skill Proficiencies: Arcana, Investigation
- Tool Proficiencies: Choose two of the following: Alchemist's Supplies, Herbalism Kit, Smith's Tools, Tinker's Tools
Feature: Eye for the arcane
You are skilled at easily identifying the properties of magical items and devices. If you know an object is magical you can use an action to determine its rarity (if it has one) and what school of magic it belongs to if any.
Suggested Characteristics
Magewrights are often very intelligent, though not necessarily very personable. They tend to love to find out how things work and can be very analytically minded.
