You hail from Lariat, a floating desert city composed of mostly yuan-ti. You inherently understand better than some others the way people think, the way people feel, and how their inner thoughts affect their outer movements. You may be part of the Malik, the highest house, born into the wealthy life, or you may be a taealam, an apprentice who worked their way up through the system of meritocracy to work for the noble houses. Or, you may be a citizen of Munkhafid, the more commoner based peoples.
Laratians use dance to connect with those they trust and silvered tongues to bewilder those they don't.

Suggested Characteristics
Many people from Lariat never leave Lariat. Because of this, people who do venture out from Lariat are either incredibly brave, incredibly stupid, or running from something or someone. Or a combination of the three.
Some keep to themselves, deciding that “my business is my own, their business is their own, if we don’t pry then we’ll be fine.” Some people are very personable, deciding that it’s better to stick together, because “together, we’re stronger than we are alone.” More people tend towards being personable, if only because it is easier and more socially acceptable to be personable to someone being nice to you than shut them out. People from Munkhafid gain advantage in Persuasion.
People in Dakhiliin tend to look down on others. Most people in the upper city are nobles or government workers, so a lot of them think they’re better than other people. Almost all of the upper city citizens tend towards introversion, either because they feel like they’re not good enough to talk to the other citizens of Dakhiliin or because they feel like they’re too good to talk to the other citizens of Dakhiliin. People from Dakhiliin gain advantage in Intimidation.
