High above in the ruins of the cathedral, quietly hiding in the shadow of a broken gargoyle, Siks watches the huge, rotting, necrotic beast take flight. “This is the creature that has been terrorizing the area” he observed “and so this must be where the necromancer has set up his lair.” With a shiver of excitement and nerves, Siks knew it was almost time for the confrontation. For weeks Siks has traveled the war-torn area, searching abandoned and destroyed cities, looking for this foul practitioner of the darkest magics. “Tonight”, he whispers “I have found you.”
Using expert training and techniques, Professional Undead Hunters seek out the undead and gather information about how to both defend against them and effectively destroy them. A hunter has extensive knowledge of all undead (and other related creatures and practitioners of necromancy) including their powers and weaknesses, all gained from comprehensive research & investigation, formal instruction and most importantly, experience. These undead and those who create them can range from the most mundane to vampire lords, powerful wizards and even gods.

You are viewed as a professional and expert on all things undead. People respect you and consider you a champion and hero but also regard you as mysterious and dangerous. While they are willing to help you, they may approach you with unease and apprehension. Local common folk as well as nobility, merchant guilds, religious groups and governments will provide aid and information based on their available resources. These include things such as lodging, meals, guides, transportation and even equipment and gear.
