The Oath of the Forge binds a paladin to the anvil. Often coming from a working background, particularly blacksmiths, these paladins pride themselves in forging powerful artefacts as well as powerful relationships. Their passion for their craft often gains them respect from the working class and nobleman alike, and the paladins are sworn to protect them no matter the cost.

Eyes of Steel. Your eyes burn like fire in a forge. Your expertise in blacksmithing allows you to see and call out a weak spot in a creature's armour. Choose a creature you can see. Make a Wisdom (perception) check (the DC is equal to the target's AC). On a success, the target loses 1d4 to its AC.

Blacksmith's Best Friend. You summon a magical anvil. You can spend 1 hour with the anvil to give a weapon an extra 1d8 damage or give a piece of armour +2 AC for the next 24 hours. You can spend 8 hours with the anvil and 500g worth of forging supplies to make this effect permanent. The anvil disappears once you have completed your task.

Aura of Armor

Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you gain +1 AC while you are conscious.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Armor Expert

At 15th level, you become an expert in armors. You gain resistance to slashing, piercing and bludgeoning damage from non-magical attacks. You also gain proficiency with all armor types.

Forged in Fire

Starting at 20th level, as an action, you can become an avatar of the forge for 1 minute, wielding molten armor that surrounds you and any friendly creatures within 30 ft. The armor grants resistance to all damage
