Your arcane focus is crystal ball, and you gain 3 additional special crystal balls after taking this feat. If one is destroyed, one of the other 2 will generate another.
You can cast a spell into a crystal ball. When you throw it (20/40), it will release that spell with the spot it landed as its target. It will release the spell whenever it breaks.
You can also use the crystal ball on a podium to attempt to gaze into the future. Make an arcana check. Based on the specificity of your question, the DC will change (to your DM’s discretion). But, as a general rule, finding the location of someone <2 miles away requires a 3, <5 miles away is a 6, <10 miles away is a 10, <100 miles is an 18, and 1000 miles away requires a 25. It should be noted, however, this is the math for a non-magic being, and are subject to change for finding things such as a magical artifact, or answers to tough questions. After making this check, an answer will appear in the crystal bowl, looking like a location and active video of the person that slowly pans out, or something else.
