Dread Necromancy

Through rigorous study and practice you have unlocked the art of channeling negative energies into sculpting one single powerful undead creature. When you would cast animate dead you can forgo targeting multiple corpses to only target one and reanimate it as an undead of your choice of cr equal to half your level or lower rounded down. You may only use this feature once per long rest and if you would ever create another Undead Champion while still controlling one, the previous undead dies. In order to reassert control over an undead created with this feat you must cast animate dead on them using this feat again.
