Being alert is almost certainly a good quality to have, unfortunately, you are a bit too alert making you constantly on edge from any potential threat. You gain the following benefits:
- You gain a +5 to Initiative
- You can no longer be surprised in any situation
However, you suffer from the following drawback:
- Whenever you are normally surprised in any situation, roll an attack within reach of any creatures around you. The DM will randomly select which creature you will attack, this includes your allies. You are not allowed to know which creature you have attacked until after the attack roll has been made.
