You mastered the flourish of straight edge blades and gain the following benefits when using a one-handed finesse weapon and are benefiting from the Dueling Class Feature:
- When you take the attack action using a finesse weapon, you can take a -5 penalty to all your attacks this round and make one additional attack.
-
When another creature damages you with a melee attack, you can suspend the benefits of your Dueling class feature until the end of your next turn and use your reaction to attempt to deflect the attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the Attack is reduced by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your level.
If you reduce the damage to 0, you can immediately make a single melee weapon attack against that creature as part of the reaction.
