Standard wounds are prevented entirely, serious wounds become standard wounds, and grievous wounds become serious wounds. You may use this reaction after you know what category of wound you would receive but before you know the exact nature of the wound. You may take this reaction a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses on a long rest.
