Axe Savant

You have trained with axes to the point of mastery.

While using a handaxe, battleaxe, or greataxe, you gain the following benefits.

• If it does not have the heavy property, you may use your Dexterity score instead of Strength for attack and damage rolls when you attack with the axe.
• As an action, you may use your handaxe, battleaxe, or greataxe to cleave through any nonmagical shield, destroying it. If the shield is wielded by a creature that creature can make a Dexterity saving throw, with a DC (8 + your proficiency bonus + Strength/Dexterity modifier). If it succeeds on this save, its shield is not destroyed.
