Determination

The mortality of humanity has granted them with a unique ability rarely seen elsewhere. An exhausted human, beaten and battered raggedly standing to his feet, ill-prepared to fight a great evil. A pitiful scene, a human by himself, all his comrades struck down. A fury burns in his eyes, and as he takes his sword, a new strength and fury to his step, he strikes with fervor and moves with haste. He strikes down the evil, as he himself, passes out. This is human determination, unrivaled by all others.

Once per long rest, if you were to reach 0 HP, you may use this ability to recover one hit die of damage and grant yourself one of the following effects:

• Gain +4 to your AC
• Gain two hit die of temporary HP
• Double your STR or DEX modifier (increase damage and attack bonus respectively)
• Gain an extra attack

You lose all effects if you do not attack on your turn.
