Beyond the Academy

Nothing is guaranteed once you step outside the walls of learning, but here are a few things that might help:

• It's important to be able to understand people, but at the same time a skillful hand can really go a long way. With this in mind, please choose one 1st or 2nd level spell from the Wizard's Spell List. We recommend Comprehend Languages or Borrowed Knowledge. You'll be able to cast whichever spell you choose a number of times equal to half your proficiency modifier, rounded down. All uses of this spell will be restored once you've had a long rest.
• Secondly, it's helpful to be exceptionally good at something. With this in mind, choose one skill or toolset that you already have proficiency in. From now on, your proficiency bonus is doubled whenever you use that skill.
• And finally, sometimes skill and diplomacy fail. With that in mind, you have advantage on constitution saving throws you make to maintain concentration on a spell.
