At 3rd level or higher you may pick any bird with 10+ your level+ your PB HP, a CR of .5 (At 5th 1, 7th 2, 9th 3, 11th 4, 13th 5, 15th 6, 17th 7, 19th 8, 20th 10.), a size of small (at 10th med, at 20th large.). After you have done this you may spend 3 hours to summon it as your pet, if you find one of those stats you may spend 1 hour to tame/train it.
